Jessie Hansen is an analog photographer raised in Kutztown, Pennsylvania and currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work consists of portraiture and environmental photography that are greatly focused on the concepts of empathy and emotion. An insatiable desire to connect on a deep level with other people and nature is what inspires and drives Jessie in her photographic career. Her work mostly takes the form of darkroom and inkjet prints, and in recent months she has made several projects in the form of handmade artist books.
She is currently pursuing a BFA in Photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art and will be graduating in 2021.
