Biography
Jessie Hansen is an analog photographer raised in Kutztown, Pennsylvania and currently based in Baltimore. Her work consists of portraiture and environmental photography that are greatly focused on the concepts of empathy and spiritual connection with the natural world. An insatiable desire to relate on a deep level with other people and nature is what inspires and drives Jessie in her photographic career. Her work mostly takes the form of darkroom and inkjet prints, along with the occasional handmade artist book.
She obtained her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021.
