"Love, Me" is a Poetic Autobiography written by Jessie Gehrke (now known as Jessie Hansen). It is a story about my search for love throughout my life, and it is the journey of learning to love myself. On my journey of recovery and self-discovery, I recount old memories and learn how to cope with the feelings they bring. I talk about some of the hardest things I've had to walk through, such as: addiction, grief, divorce, abortion, shame, etc. I walk through hard times with the reader and we learn how to cope together. Love, Me is a story about learning to love myself, but it's also a story about teaching others that the love they are searching for is already inside of them.
